Meet the Team
We work with a close knit, trusted group of facilitators with backgrounds in drama, business psychology and customer service development. Our small and dedicated team of trainer/facilitators excel at engaging teams in experiential, on-your-feet active learning. But who are the brains behind Different Duck? Find out here!
Rachel is an experienced workshop facilitator and is passionate about making training engaging and fun - the best way to learn. She studied Drama and Media at Portsmouth University before completing an MA at Central School of Speech and Drama where she met Nick and they started coming up with ideas.
Rachel is a big advocate of utilising play and improvisation to unleash great ideas, improve the way we interact and gain confidence through experience.
Nick has been facilitating workshops in the UK and Europe ever since graduating from Central School of Speech and Drama with an MA in acting. His unique experience in building bespoke development sessions has seen him work with everyone from business executives to groups of foreign language delegates.
As a professional actor, Nick has a broad experience working on the stage, screen and television. He believes that many exciting key skills in the acting world are directly applicable to almost any professional environment – a concept that led him to co-found Different Duck and put this approach into practice with great success!
Nick wants to live in a world where teams flourish by developing their personal innovative creativity; where organisations strive for that all important difference and where deep pan pizza is recognised as a healthy snack … only one of those is a pipe-dream.
